The Game Awards é uma cerimónia anual que premeia a excelência em videojogos, na sua componente criativa e características técnicas. Geoff Keighley, produtor do evento, reúne todos os anos os jogadores, editoras e figuras de destaque da pop culture mundial, para celebrar os videojogos como a forma mais imersiva, inspiradora e desafiante de entretenimento.
The Game Awards 2020
Este ano, a cerimónia teve lugar no dia 11 de dezembro, em Los Angeles, Tóquio e Londres, sem audiência presencial devido à pandemia da Covid-19, tendo sido transmitido em live stream para todo o mundo. A gala contou com vários celebridades do mundo do cinema, música e dos videojogos.
