A Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood anunciou no domingo, dia 12 de dezembro, os nomeados para a 79ª edição dos Globos de Ouro, durante um evento apresentado pelo rapper Snoop Dogg. A cerimónia de entrega dos Golden Globes 2022 acontece no dia 9 de janeiro de 2022.
Entre os filmes com mais nomeações, encontramos “Belfast”, do norte-irlandês Kenneth Branagh, e “The Power of the Dogs” (Ataque dos Cães), da neozelandesa Jane Campion, nomeados para sete categorias cada.
Entre as produções para TV, os dramas “Succession” (HBO Max) e “The morning show” ( protagonizada por Jeniffer Aniston, que concorre a melhor atriz) e a comédia “Ted Lasso” (ambas na Apple TV) receberam quatro nomeações. Squid Game, a série mais vista da Netflix, está nomeada em três categorias.
